i'm not gonna sit here and act like i'm the biggest copeland fan ever, because while i did listen to them, it wasn't A LOT. i think they only have about 300 plays on my last.fm. i got into them sometime in 2004 when the video for "walking downtown" was constantly playing on this christian music video channel we had on our satellite. in those 5 years i've missed every single show they've played in philly. and for some reason, them breaking up has really upset me. reading some of the replies on absolutepunk.net and seeing how they've affected/changed peoples' lives makes me want to cry. they just seemed like one of those bands that would never break up. i'm so glad they're going to be doing a final tour so i can see them for the first and last time. it'll be very bittersweet.

all of them have influenced me a lot in different ways. hanson pretty much got me into music. they were my first favorite band, first album that i bought, first ~concert. everything.

when i saw them last october they kinda stopped the show for a minute to announce that the phillies won the world series hahah it was pretty awesome.

What is a good memory concerning 3?
i couldn't pick just one..everytime i see shane i'm just so happy. he's such an amazing person.

i don't necessarily get sad, but weathered evokes a lot of emotions in me. it has made me cry before.

How did you become a fan of 10?
i saw anarbor for the first time about a year ago in west chester at the skate park. i thought they sounded pretty good (annnd thought slade was so attractive) so i started listening to them haha.

it's quite obvious that i love music. i can listen to the same bands, albums, and songs over and over and over again. i also love reading books and watching movies. but the thing about that is i cannot watch the same movies over and over, same with reading books. it has to be a long period of time - several months to a year - for me to be able to pick up a book i've already read or watch a movie i've already seen. i just wondered why that is. i guess i just love music the most out of the three.



right now i'm reading the bell jar by sylvia plath. i can't seem to stop listening to the summer set and a rocket to the moon's new albums (embarrassing), as well as the new eps from the years gone by and hanson. and the last film i watched was mouth to mouth. ellen page usually irritates me but i always seem to love/want to watch the movies she's in.

gtfooooo i HATE hot weather.

they all look REALLY good. just throwing that out there.

for the past month or so i’ve been rewatching the oc. when i used to watch it on tv i never really paid attention to the music on the show, so now i’m discovering all of these great songs (with the exception of death cab and imogen heap). i put together a little playlist of the ones i love the most. don’t panic by coldplay wasn’t actually featured on the show but i love that song from garden state and it fits here too so i added it.
